Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services in an elementary school setting within Lincoln, RI, supporting mostly PreK students with some services for grades 1-3. This part-time contract position spans from January 5, 2026, to June 15, 2026, offering approximately two days per week with flexible scheduling required between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities include delivering school-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to young learners, collaborating with educators and staff to support student development, and adapting services based on changing caseload needs. The role requires onsite presence at Northern Lincoln Elementary and the ability to adjust therapy plans in response to evolving student needs.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active state occupational therapy license in Rhode Island
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings, preferably with early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and caseload adjustments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
